All together on the Costa Brava, or in good weather to Bloemendaal. We are all packed together hoping to catch some sun. We tan, but do we also enjoy the beauty of the beach? Usually not, but they don't even come close to these beaches, which we think are the ten most beautiful in the world!
10. Cabbage Beach, Paradise Island, Bahamas
Admittedly, the Bahamas is quite touristy. You can let your mood be ruined by the many beach chairs and umbrellas or vendors. However, if you walk a bit to the east, away from the crowds, you will reach one of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches. Be careful when you go swimming here, there is a strong undertow.
9. Matira Beach, Bora Bora, Tahiti
Bora Bora is almost too perfect to be true. Every traveler wants to take a dip in the sea here. It is therefore a popular tourist destination. Only for the very rich because there are only very expensive luxury resorts. You can feed sharks, hunt for black pearls or view the memorabilia of World War II.

You won't find a sugary beach or idyllic swimming conditions here. What you will find here is a dramatic black basalt beach and you might spot several species of turtles, dolphins and whale sharks when you go snorkelling here. How remote this beach is is underlined by the twenty-minute trek through the forest that you have to make to reach the beach.

Boulders Beach in Cape Town may not be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Still, it's worth mentioning, especially as it's home to 3,000 penguins. They often waddle in and out of the sea here. The best place to spot them is from the boulevard near Foxy Beach.
