A Brazilian resort will have the tallest residential building in the world

It will be built in Camboriú and will be the tallest apartment tower at 500 meters.

The tallest residential building in the world will begin construction in the second half of 2025 in the Camboriú resort , one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Santa Catarina coast, frequented by Argentine tourists during the summer season.

Called the Senna Tower , in honor of legendary multiple Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna , this megastructure will exceed 500 meters in height and will be located on Avenida Atlantica, in the area known as the "Dubai of Brazil."

The towering skyscraper will feature 228 residential units, including 18 suspended mansions measuring between 420 and 563 square meters, 204 apartments of up to 400 square meters, four duplex penthouses of 600 square meters, two mega triplex penthouses of 903 square meters, and eight high-speed elevators .

The project will also offer six floors dedicated to leisure and an exclusive rooftop for residential use , with more than 6,000 square meters for the rest and enjoyment of its inhabitants. The units will begin to be sold before the end of the year.

The project will be carried out by FG Empreendimentos, one of Brazil's leading real estate developers, and will cost an estimated R$3 billion (approximately US$550 million). Construction is expected to be completed within ten years . The building will not only offer private spaces, but also public areas for entertainment, gastronomy and an interactive space dedicated to Ayrton Senna.

When Torre Senna is completed, it will surpass the Central Park Tower , which opened in 2019, which at 472 meters is currently the tallest residential building in the world. It will also surpass 111 West 57th Street in New York, which reaches 435 meters. To put its magnitude into perspective, the tallest apartment tower in Buenos Aires, the Alvear Tower, is 239 meters, and the iconic Obelisco reaches just 68 meters, meaning Torre Senna will be 7.3 times taller than the Obelisco.

The tower's artistic and architectural concept was designed by Lalalli Senna, the driver's niece. Inspired by Ayrton Senna's life and his tireless pursuit of excellence, Lalalli explained that the design symbolizes the path of self-improvement and aspiration towards higher ideals, inviting everyone to seek their best version.
