Universal brings back Butterbeer Season in Hollywood and Orlando
This annual event will feature a new Butterbeer Cream Puff, a Butterbeer-flavored chocolate bar, and a collection of merchandise.
Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort celebrate the return of the popular Butterbeer ™ Season, a dedicated annual tradition inviting guests and fans to enjoy all things Butterbeer within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter ™. Butterbeer Season begins Saturday, March 1 and continues daily through Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Reminiscent of caramel and shortbread, Butterbeer is a favorite among witches and wizards. It is currently available for purchase in a variety of delicious options, including cold, frozen, hot, and non-dairy beverages, along with Butterbeer fudge, potted cream, and ice cream.
This year’s celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will feature a new, seasonally-only Butterbeer Cream Puff available at Three Broomsticks™, where guests can also enjoy chilled or frozen Butterbeer in a limited-edition Gold Souvenir mug.
Additionally, a Butterbeer-flavored chocolate bar and a Butterbeer candy will be available in stores, and the deliciously sweet Ice Lolly makes a return. This tempting ice lolly will now be available year-round.
A collection of custom Butterbeer-themed merchandise will also take center stage as part of the Butterbeer season. The inspiring line is designed to offer wizards, witches and muggles alike the chance to celebrate Butterbeer during and after their visit to the theme parks. Items will include apparel such as a plaid shirt, hoodie and fleece zip-up sweatshirt, as well as accessories ranging from bags to hats, socks and more.
