Starting August 7, Texas residents and tourists will be able to enjoy the new water park in Webster, " The Great Wolf Lodge Gulf Coast Texas ." This project, which began in 2022, now opens with indoor facilities to combat the summer heat.
The park combines water attractions and family accommodations , modeled after other parks in the Great Wolf Resorts chain, which already has locations in the south, west, and northeast of the United States. With a cost of approximately $200 million , the park covers more than 140,000 square feet and is the chain's second property in Texas.

“With millions of families visiting our Grapevine resort, we know Texas families enjoy the Great Wolf Lodge experience, and we're excited to open our second resort in the state,” said Murray Hennessy, CEO of Great Wolf Resorts, in an interview with The Sun.
The mega-complex will be air-conditioned to a constant temperature of 28 degrees , both in the 8,000 square meters of the water recreation area and in the more than 5,000 square meters of the hotel, which will have 532 rooms.
Guests can choose from three room categories: standard, themed, and premium, all suitable for comfortably accommodating a family. A typical standard suite will include two queen beds, a sofa bed, a full bathroom, a living room, a mini-refrigerator, a television, and a coffee maker, the company explained to The Sun.
As for attractions, the Great Wolf Adventure Park will feature four-story slides, raft rides, lap pools, and splash areas for all ages . The state-of-the-art tube slides promise an innovative experience.
